Does your troop divide your scouts into two or more units if it exceeds 48 members?

Hi there,

I was wondering if any of you or your troop still practising using left hand handshake as a scout sign of brotherhood in Malaysia?

Patrol Name Patch

I was wondering if anyone can answer me those national hero names to be used in our patrols a compulsory or just suggestion?

If that's the compulsory way of naming our patrols, how are we going to make the patrol flag? Instead of following the traditional way of putting up an animal head, are we putting on the hero's head on the patrol flag now?

Or are we still have the freedom to name our patrols within the boys' patrol meetings?

Animals or heros? Which one sticks to the more original idea of scouting utilizing patrol system?

Any motive in using hero names? Are scouting in Malaysia being political now?

Sorry if I'm being too skeptical to some.
